Trading uses platform credits instead of real-world currency. Credits pay for shares, market creation, and other platform features.
Your account starts with a credit balance. That balance can grow through:

On the platform site, you can select a credit package from your profile. Each package is a one-time purchase in USD through Stripe. After a successful checkout, the purchased credits are added to your platform balance.
Credit packages fund platform activity; shares themselves are still traded in credits.
Enter a valid promo code from the Portfolio page. The awarded credits and updated balance appear after redemption.

Your profile provides a referral code and, when available, a shareable referral link. The referral card tracks how many people you have referred and the credits you have earned.
Share either form with a new user. Referral rewards are credited when the program's qualifying action is completed.
Achievements recognize activity across the platform. Daily-activity and daily-trade streaks show ongoing progress and can award credits as their milestones are reached.
Smart Score summarizes your trading performance. Open your profile to view the score alongside achievements and other account statistics.
On organization-hosted sites, balances belong to the active tournament rather than a purchasable global-credit account. Credit purchasing is disabled, and the purchase dialog, referral program, and Smart Score do not appear.
Each tournament supplies its own starting balance and currency. Credits earned or spent in one tournament stay in that tournament. See Tournaments & Organizations for how tournament balances work.
