Free market creation on organization sites

improvement
api

Creating markets on organization sites is now completely free — no creation fee, no multi-outcome surcharge, and video generation is included at no cost. Pricing rows, balance requirements, and paid add-ons that don't apply to organization sites (Super Signal, liquidity boost, anonymous mode) no longer appear in the market builder. Organization-bound API keys also create markets free of charge; requests that set superSignal or a positive liquidityAmount are now rejected with a validation error.

Organization-scoped API reads

api

Organization-bound API keys now resolve every account, portfolio, and leaderboard read to their default tournament instead of the public global context, matching how orders and market data already behave. Tournament-scoped fills and portfolio history endpoints were added, and explicit tournament filters are now validated — unknown or inaccessible tournaments return 404/403 instead of empty results. Pagination cursors issued before this release should be discarded; restart any in-flight pagination without a cursor.

Organization-scoped realtime tokens

api

Realtime tokens minted with an organization-bound API key are now restricted to tournament channels belonging to that organization. Public market and leaderboard channels and your own user channel are unchanged.

Organization scope hardening across site surfaces

fix

Search, duplicate detection, market-list position badges, and notification actions now respect the organization surface you are on, and comment search works again. Tournament balance and order-quote reads no longer reveal data from tournaments you are not a member of.

Bounded orderbook and league admin listings

api
improvement

The market orderbook endpoint now accepts a depth parameter and returns the best 20 price rungs per side by default, matching the single-exchange orderbook. Both orderbooks aggregate their price rungs in the database, so a busy book no longer ships every resting order just to display its top levels.

League market assignments, market groups, and user groups are now paginated with limit and cursor, and each response reports pagination alongside its data. Requests without those parameters return the first 50 entries.

Manage group membership through the API

api
feature

Market groups and user groups can now be populated and emptied programmatically. The v1 API previously let you create, rename, and delete a group but never put anything in it, so groups had to be filled in through the admin interface before they were useful.

Each group type gains endpoints to list, add, and remove its members, handling up to 500 per call. User groups accept emails and usernames alongside profile ids, and enrol newcomers into the organization automatically. Market removals that would settle open positions are reported back rather than applied silently.

Faster order placement on automated-liquidity markets

fix

Placing orders on markets with large automated-liquidity pools could time out and show a failure even though the trade went through. Order placement is now fast for large pools, and when an order can't be confirmed we say so explicitly instead of reporting a failure.

Organization media controls

feature

Organizations can now limit market media to generated images, with AI video creation switched off across their space. Administrators also gained a dedicated action to take down an existing market video without triggering any replacement media.

August 8, 2026

Organization-wide currency naming

feature

Organizations can now define a single currency name for their whole space, and new tournaments pick it up automatically. Balances, trade messages, and portfolio views on organization sites show that name everywhere credits appear.

Custom market thumbnails

feature
api

Organization admins can now upload their own market thumbnails while creating or editing markets, from the market builder or through the API. Markets with an uploaded thumbnail keep it as-is instead of receiving generated artwork.
